*Transhumanism is said to be the cutting edge of science, a science that promises eternal human”life” transferred to non biological bodies. Much like Alchemy,Transhumanism seeks to convert one state of matter to another, and being that it is mostly influenced by dogmatic science it see’s the human mind in purely mechanistic terms.

Most of Modern science agrees that The brain is simply a computer,or a tool that can be replicated and tweaked and “uploaded”. Without considering that Consciousness itself may be more than just electrical impulses and trillions of bits and bytes of data. The ultimate goal being to transcend the fragile mortal biological body. It’s an ambitious goal, but one that should take into consideration the nature of consciousness, not simply the cutting and pasting of it into another temporary “container”.

Immortality is Something that the human race has dreamt of since we understood the concept of death. But Rather than dreaming and attempting to keep our physical bodies alive forever, maybe we need to look somewhere else. What’s something that you use every day. What’s something that has incredible power similar to that of our minds. What are you looking at right now? A thought provoking article surely, but what’s displaying it? A computer; running a program. What else is our mind but a type of computer running a program?

I think the brain is like a program in the mind, which is like a computer, so it’s theoretically possible to copy the brain onto a computer and so provide a form of life after deathStephen Hawking

Many scientists and thinkers are suggesting that the answer to eternal life has literally been right in front of us for a while now. The head of British Telecom’s futurology unit stated that rapid advances in computing power would make cyber-immortality a reality within 50 years.
More recently (in 2013) one of todays great minds and Google’s director of engineering, Ray Kurzweil, suggested that the ability to transfer the entire human mind to a computer will be achievable within four decades.

Based on conservative estimates of the amount of computation you need to functionally simulate a human brain, we’ll be able to expand the scope of our intelligence a billion-fold. Ray Kurzweil

We’ve even begun to replicate the functions of a brain. In a study done by The Blue Brain project, Henry Markram and a team successfully simulated the neocortical column of a rat. A complex layer of brain tissue common to all mammals. Although we are still a ways off from replicating the human brain, it is extremely foreseeable that it will exist within many of our lifetimes. Whether it will be affordable to the masses that soon is another question. It could take time for it to become a common and affordable means to an end.

*Well…Not so Fast there, take into account that one of the leading “sources” of making such technology happen is the Pentagon’s DARPA. They most likely aren’t developing this for use by the masses, in fact quite the opposite, it would most likely be used as a tool to bait or control the masses

DARPA Cortical Modem connects the brain directly to a computer

brain-plug-in

A brain-computer interface has been developed by the US Defence Research Projects Agency (DARPA) that is capable of laying a heads-up display over a user’s natural vision.
The “cortical modem” also holds the potential to cure sight loss and enable “electronic telepathy and telekinesis” according to noted futurist Peter Rothman, writing for H+ Magazine.

The interface provides a direct link between the brain and an external device or software through manipulation of the visual cortex.Phillip Alvelda, chief of DARPA’s Biological Technologies, told the conference how the device could replace all virtual reality glasses, such as the Oculus Rift, by bypassing the visual sensory system entirely.

DARPA has led the way in a number of futurist and transhumanist projects, including a tiny implant that assists the body’s organs in healing themselves when injured. Their mission statement has evolved over time. Today, DARPA’s mission is still “to prevent technological surprise to the US, but also to create technological surprise for our enemies.”

And Who would those Enemies be? Well read this for some insight. It doesn’t involve bearded guys hiding in caves, it involves what will be left of the masses of humanity.

DARPA’s Objective: Hacking The Brain

brainhack

he secretive U.S. military research division DARPA has announced plans to create a device that could accelerate learning in the human brain.
The targeted neuroplasticity training (TNT) program uses a method that claims to be able to improve cognitive skills by stimulating peripheral nerves.

Recent research has shown that stimulation of certain peripheral nerves, easily and painlessly achieved through the skin, can activate regions of the brain involved with learning,” said TNT program manager Doug Weber. This natural process of synaptic plasticity is pivotal for learning, but much is unknown about the physiological mechanisms that link peripheral nerve stimulation to improved plasticity and learning.”

DARPA already has programs underway involving the peripheral nervous system, which it hopes will eventually be used as a substitute for drugs to treat diseases and help accelerate healing. TNT aims to not just restore lost function but also advance capabilities beyond normal levels. Few details have been given about the device DARPA plans to engineer to facilitate the accelerated learning, other than it will be “non-invasive.”

Targeted Neuroplasticity Training (TNT) premise is set on the mechanism that signals are instigated in the extremities and then forwarded to the brain to alter or modify its structure. This means the agency plans to stimulate specific peripheral nerves to trigger the release of certain molecules. These molecules are released into the brain due to which the neurons rearrange themselves and the purpose is achieved.

The objective has been trying to find a solution to simulate the peripheral nerves of the human body and trick the brain into thinking that it is learning fast. It’s A perfect program for government agents and security personnel but it is a very costly, time-consuming and daunting task as it involves everything from learning foreign languages to cryptography.

Mass psychosis and the technological race to destroy humanity

Posted in Commentary, Mind Control, Social Engineering, Surveillance, Technology, Transhumanism on March 20, 2016 by realizethelies

Bernie Suarez

Psychosis is defined essentially as a mental disorder which usually consist of hallucinations and or delusions which indicate a disconnect from reality. Delusions are a false belief, and hallucinations being a mental sensory perception of something that does not exist. Put these all together and you have a mental disorder which accompanies an irrational behavior based on a trend of thought and belief that, as you continue to entertain, only disconnects you further and further from reality.

One of the greatest deceptions, and now an arguably new mental infirmity, is the idea that we (humanity) need more and more technology in our lives. We are all being told and led to believe that whatever machines we have now are not enough and never will be. We are led to believe that there must be a way to make it better, faster, stronger or more effective. There is much logic to this argument After all, who doesn’t want something to become better? Why would someone not want something to work better? Anything that is made to work better and more improved, one would think, is naturally the best option. But is this really true? No it is not and here’s why.

Nowhere in nature do we see such desperate pushing for improvement. Only humans seem to have the weakness and defect of not ever being satisfied. Nowhere in the animal kingdom does this irrational urge to make things better and better and better, even far and beyond the point where the usefulness of the machine is adequate and nearly perfect. In fact, even within humanity there are few if any behaviors that when pursued continuously and obsessively beyond the point where it’s needed is not considered an obsession or disorder of some kind.

If one only lives to make money and cares not about anything else, one can reasonably observe that this is a disorder. Or if someone only seeks love to the point of not earning money or taking care of responsibilities, that too would be perceived as perhaps a form of disorder or imbalance. The obsessive non-stop irrational quest for newer and newer technology, however, is looked upon as good by society regardless of how much damage it does to humanity. There seems to never be an end to the quest for technology.

Technology is now becoming one of the greatest obstacles preventing humanity from thriving. We are natural creatures, we are part of nature and we are supposed to contribute to the flow of nature not fight against it. Technology is created by the human mind, only now this technology is not being guided by the laws of nature, ethics, morality, good will, health goals or spiritual enhancement.

From mind control, to Global surveillance, to human extinction with drones and other weapons of mass destruction, the obsession with technology has become a major threat to humanity. Given the state we are in, it is becoming more difficult to excuse the irrational love and desperate quest for more and more technology. This new psychosis finds itself predominantly in the circles of government and mega corporations as companies like Google continue to search and research for more and more technology that will make the new world order and the global prison bullet proof to opposition.

As we chronicle the road to modern-day tyranny, technology is at the center of it all. None of this would be possible without an unusual amount of energy being applied to this cause. That ‘unusual’ amount of energy can only come from a mind that is functioning abnormally. In a perfect world we would harness the technology in a good way and advance helpful technology only. Many have hopes for this, but unfortunately the Elite power structures have the majority of the technology, the keys to the laboratory, and the psychopaths willing to pay the scientists and engineers to brainstorm more and more ways to enslave humanity.

The technology psychosis is on a wild ride at the expense of humanity; and the lust for more of it, I believe, is a reflection of an illness. Take a minute and consider the issue and ask yourself, what are we doing? Humanity is not naturally designed to commune and harmonize with machines that emit dangerous electromagnetic waves and impulses. The truth is that we had better consider this issue before humanity becomes extinct. We are already on the verge of extinction in a myriad ways, we can check off the list:

. Weapons of mass destruction enough to destroy the planet many times over in the hands of psychopaths.

.
Weather modification technology and contamination of the entire ecosystem with metal particle contaminants already done.

. Poisons and toxins spilled all over the ocean and planet killing millions of birds, fish, sea creatures and even insects, important bacteria and other life forms.

. Robots being created to control, track and kill humans, all in the hands of psychopaths.

. Genetically tampering the very food we eat.

The list goes on and on, This psychosis almost certainly guarantees the destruction of humanity.

DARPA Spending $62 Million to Create Military Cyborgs

Posted in DARPA, Science, Technology, Transhumanism with tags , , , on March 14, 2016 by realizethelies

darpaurbanwarefare

The Pentagon’s research agency,DARPA is set to spend $62 million on developing an implantable microchip, that will allow the human brain to directly communicate with computer systems.DARPA’s program director for the project says the implant is seeking to “open the channel between the human brain and modern electronics.”
In January, DARPA announced it plans to spend up to $62 million on the project, which is part of its Neural Engineering System Design program.

A statement from DARPA said it will enable “data-transfer bandwidth between the human brain and the digital world, feeding digital auditory or visual information into the brain.

DARPA sees the implant as providing a foundation for new therapies that could help people with deficits in sight or hearing by “feeding digital auditory or visual information into the brain. The research agency claims the project is not intended for military purposes, yet experts believe it will have many military applications. While it could potentially restore senses to injured veterans, it could also be used to heighten the senses of perfectly healthy soldiers.

Either way, DARPA is seeking to perfect the cyborg– an individual with both organic and mechanical body parts.

The potential cyborg connection wasn’t lost on CNN who reported:

The U.S. military is currently developing a battery-powered exoskeleton, the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit, to provide superior protection from enemy fire and in-helmet technologies that boost the user’s communications ability and vision. In theory, the proposed neural implant would allow the military member operating the suit to more effectively control the armored exoskeleton while deployed in combat

If this device could be used to heighten the awareness of an individual’s surroundings, could it also be manipulated to present a misleading perspective on what is happening around the implanted person?

Could a soldier be manipulated into believing something was happening due to a certain message being transmitted to the implant, when in actual fact something entirely different was occurring in reality?

However, Steven Pinker, a cognitive scientist from Harvard, is sceptical that the device could ever work:

“We have little to no idea how exactly the brain codes complex information” “My guess is that it’s a waste of taxpayer dollars.”

Despite these concerns, DARPA is pressing ahead with the project.
Do you think we are now a step closer to cyborg super soldiers, or just wasting $62 million?

Wikipedia, H.G. Wells and the Transhuman World Brain

worldbrain

Well, it’s in our faces, and as usual we were warned. Wikipedia is bragging about their agenda now, while most of the whirled is tickled that “someone” is gathering all of this information in one (heavily thought-policed) place for their “easy reference”.

Technology is climbing up humanity’s back like fast spreading black veins in a bad sci-fi movie. The takeover attempt is obvious and repugnant to any thinking and feeling individual. Most just observe as they’re taken over by this web of control, but many of us are wide awake and aware of what is going down.

The story of Wikipedia serves as a perfect example of how this virus can be spread, appearing as an innocuous and even “free” and helpful resource, much like the massively manipulated Google transformer.

Wikipedia turns 15 and aims to become ‘sum of all human knowledge’

Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales has targeted becoming the “sum of all human knowledge” as the online guide celebrates its 15th anniversary.Mr Wales said the aim of the open-source encyclopedia, where anyone can contribute and edit articles, was to “build a high quality record” of human history that “opens up a world of knowledge” to users.

H.G. Wells and Required History of Social Pre-programming

While H.G. Wells has been popularized to today’s generations as a profoundly prophetic science fiction writer, he was known in his day as a very busy activist getting the New World in Order…literally.
An outspoken proponent of everything global, Wells pushed a consistent theme of a global community and held a deep disdain for common humanity, a typical elitist with outspoken eugenicist convictions which he championed.

Why was he so spot on with his forecasts, be it technology or societal changes? Could his membership in secretive clubs such as the Fabian Society have anything to do with it?

Wells was an early proponent of the World Brain theory

In 1938, aged 72, H.G. Wells published in American and English editions his little book of essays and speeches titled, World Brain. Wells was a utopian social reformer. He was intrigued by socialism and was caught up for a time before the First World War with Beatrice and Sidney Webb, George Bernard Shaw and others in the Fabian Society.
After the War he became increasingly and passionately dedicated to the idea that a new kind of world order was needed. In this connection he witnessed the rise of fascism and the Russian communist State with a curious ambivalence. As contemptuously critical as he was, especially of the fascist dictators, he seemed on occasion to suggest that their totalitarian regimes represented stages in the evolution of the new kind of single, unified World State that he believed was an inevitable.

Wells foresaw in coming generations the beginnings of what today is termed Transhumanism

Wells spoke of the gradual appearance “in the species Homo Sapiens” of “synthetic super-minds… into which individual consciousnesses tend to merge themselves.” These super-individual organisations, are cultures, churches, communities, states, classes and creeds, and they represent “accumulations of mentality.”

In a later book, The Shape of Things to Come, he portrayed the adaptive processes at work in human society as overcoming “the inherent distaste in the individual for subordination and self-sacrifice.” To ensure the success of the new social order that is beginning to appear in the twenty-first century “man’s life and interests have been socialised against his natural disposition.” This is described as a subversive individualism. [Emphasis mine] In the future Wells’s believed that “the obscurer processes of selection” will be “accelerated and directed by eugenic effort” and man will eventually become a new species

The World Encyclopedia is Now

[Wells] believed that his ” modern encyclopaedism” constituted a “scheme for the reorganization and reorientation of education and information throughout the world. No less” (Wells, 1938, p17). It would involve assembling, he declared, “facts and suggestions with the same insistence upon scientific reality and the same exclusion of irrelevancies that has controlled the establishment of the world outlook that I have put before the reader.”

Wikipedia Fits the bill of a World Encyclopedia as predicted/foretold/instructed by Wells…and other dark, manipulative forces on the same page. More profoundly, the matrix of information that H.G. Wells forecast is alive and well in the overall Internet, safely fully monitored by every nefarious information gathering body in the black-hearted, black-op world. The info-giants like Google and just about every tech giant are all part of it.

this part of their agenda is just another piece of the puzzle of their multi-pronged oppression of mankind. History has been bastardized, blacked out and adulterated. The U.S. school system never mentioned eugenics or what else H.G. Wells was preaching. It’s typical.

US military wants to control computers with our thoughts

*DARPA is not in the business of working for the benefit of the public, even though the justification of these research projects are said to have “medical” and “social” benefits. This is the cutting edge of Transhumanist Development, if you are able to read between the lines.

DARPA has joined those attempting to develop a neural interface between the human brain and computers. In a blog post entitled “Bridging the Bio-Electronic Divide“, the agency detailed their plans to create an “implantable neural interface able to provide unprecedented signal resolution between the human brain and the digital world”.

This interface would translate electrochemical signals in the brain into binary code, allowing communication between the human brain and a computer “no larger than one cubic centimeter in size”, the agency said. The project is part of DARPA’s Neural Engineering System Design (NESD) program.

“Imagine what will become possible when we upgrade our tools to really open the channel between the human brain and modern electronics”, said Phillip Alvelda

This kind of technology is not new — Braingate and others are currently working on the same problem — but current iterations are imprecise. Because neural information is complex, resolution can often be unclear and lead to a ‘noisy’ signal.

So the question remains: Do You Really Want to Live in a World Where Computers Read Your Mind?

Not that we really have a say in the matter either way, but nothing about the question conjures up warm, gushy feelings. DARPA, is spending $60 million on a direct brain-computer interface via neural implant that would allow computers to decode the human brain.

Sounds like a super fun addition to the coming smart grid. And when they finally decide to announce these technologies to the public, the military, government, and media always like to propagandize them with the idea that it will be used for only for good, as in to help deaf and blind people, but come on. Since when is DARPA the benevolent giver of $60 million in technology just to help people with physical disabilities?

What if technology like this progressed to the point where your thoughts could be read whether you liked it or not?

Transhumanism -The Final Religion?

Posted in Commentary, Technology, Transhumanism on October 20, 2015 by realizethelies

transhuman-imagination

After several decades of relative obscurity Transhumanism as a philosophical and technological movement has finally begun to break out of its strange intellectual ghetto and make small inroads into the wider public consciousness. This is partly because some high profile people have either adopted it as their worldview or alternatively warned against its potential dangers.
Indeed, the political scientist Francis Fukuyama named it “The world’s most dangerous idea” in a 2004 article in the US magazine Foreign Policy, and Transhumanism’s most outspoken publicist, Ray Kurzweil, was recently made director of engineering at Google, presumably to hasten Transhumanism’s goals.

So, what are these goals and how does Transhumanism define itself? Well, since it is not some monolithic organization there are different definitions and declarations, but one of the oldest came out of The World Transhumanist Association,

Transhumanism is a class of philosophies of life that seek the continuation and acceleration of the evolution of intelligent life beyond its currently human form and human limitations by means of science and technology, guided by life-promoting principles and values.” (Max More 1990)

Which sounds harmless enough and rather bland. What lies beneath is most definitely neither bland nor harmless and represents a potential change in life on Earth, and Humanity as a whole, which is unprecedented not only in the historical record but the geological. It is, perhaps, the single most momentous event in a billion years – if its more ambitious goals can be realized.

These goals are so ambitious that they warrant the title of this article irrespective as to whether they are in any way feasible, and it will become abundantly clear that while we may talk of a philosophy what we have is a declaration of intent. They are aspirations that address questions that were once the sole preserve of religions, but unlike conventional religions they seek hard engineering answers rather than ill defined and ancient obfuscations. They address the deepest hopes and fears of the Human mind – life, death, the afterlife, immortality, the nature of God(s) and the destiny of the universe.

Transhumanism core tenant begins with what most people would consider an outlandish proposal, and escalates from there. It is of course, one of Humanity’s oldest obsessions – the elimination of aging. A modern incarnation of the desire to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life, to drink from the Fountain of Youth, to create the Philosopher’s Stone and never have to worry about growing old and infirm.
The one thing almost all Transhumanists agree upon is the desirability of not dying of old age, and remaining healthy indefinitely, or at least until the even more exotic technologies hopefully begin to make an appearance. It is the increasingly high profile of this area of medical technology that is partially responsible for the dissemination of H+ agendas in the media as it hitches a ride on this and another area of increasing public concern – Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Of course, the promise of AI has been around, and unfulfilled, for decades. It has been a periodic fad among academics since the 1950s, often accompanied by overblown claims and predictions that never came true, followed by disillusionment and funding cuts. However, this time around it may be that the optimism (or perhaps pessimism) will be justified. In the public eye we have Google’s self driving cars; IBM’s Watson beating former champions on the Jeopardy TV game show; applications like Apple’s Siri. These are what one might consider to be the rising stars of the popular face of AI.
Then we get the science fiction style warnings that have always accompanied AI. The difference now is that they no longer come from end-of-the-world obsessives, but people such as Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking warning that we face an existential threat. In other words, one that could end our existence as a species.

The possible downside, which is now gaining some serious attention, concerns us being collateral damage if we get in the way of goals either the AIs set themselves, or goals we set for them. After all, very few Humans hate animals but that does not matter if we want to build on their habitat. The best they can look forward to is a reservation or zoo. The actual worst case occasionally discussed in H+ circles is generally considered too bizarre for popular consumption. It is of a hostile AI that is so evil that even death would not be a refuge from it.
Contrary to the claims of many conspiracy theorists Transhumanists are generally not very interested in eugenics or genetically engineering Homo Sapiens. This is not because of any ethical considerations but on pragmatic grounds – it is too slow. The favored route is to merge our existing biology with our machines through such devices as brain computer interfaces. The hope is that our AIs will become extensions of ourselves leading to the first wave of what is termed Post Humanity. Any alteration of biology to accommodate this symbiosis could involve genetic engineering of adults, and nanotechnology (another hand waving catchall which might as well be magic). How realistic these ideas might be remains to be seen, but the road map to the destination is in place.
